Taking about an hour to present in its entirety, the Case Study "WorldCom - could the fraud have been detected?" is presented jointly by Joseph Prakash & Professor Jacobs and is usually taught in two Phases. Based entirely on information available in the public domain, the presenters address the factors and environment that led up to the fraud and subsequent bankruptcy filing in 2002 of the then second largest telecom company in the USA.
